Candidates for 3rd Dist. U.S. House Seat Say Immigration, Budget Top Priorities

Seven of the 11 candidates seeking to fill the U.S. House 3 Seat for South Carolina vacated by Jeff Duncan were on hand for the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce candidate forum on Thursday. Six Republicans - Sheri Biggs, Kevin Bishop, Franky Franco, Phil Healy, Michael LaPierre and Elspeth Murday - and one Democrat, Byron L. Best took park in the forum. Republicans Mark Burns, Stewart O. Jones, Democrat Francis Guldner, and Alliance Party’s Mike Bedenbaugh did not attend the event.

The statewide primary is June 11.
