Anderson, SC - Billy Frank McLees, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at NHC Healthcare of Anderson. 

Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late John William and Frances Busby McLees. He served in the U.S. National Guard for several years. Mr. McLees was a retired Dairy Farmer and was a founder of Center Rock Fire Department where he had served as chief. He also served as a board member of the Anderson County Farm Bureau and the West Anderson Water Company. Mr. McLees was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher. 

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jennie Rider McLees of the home; daughter, Donna Bridges and husband, Carlton of Anderson; daughter-in-law, Lisa McLees of Anderson; five grandchildren, Justin Bridges and wife, Caroline, Jonathan McLees, Meredith McLees Myers and husband, Drake, Cody McLees, and Brady McLees; three great grandchildren, Myers Bridges, Laramie Myers, and Fisher Myers; sister, Ann Wilson of Anderson; and a brother, Mike McLees and wife, Bobbi of Anderson. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy McLees.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25, at New Prospect Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tom Turner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 10 until 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the church.
