Superintendent Lee D’Andrea has announced the release of 2009 Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) reports for Anderson School District Four, demonstrating a jump of 10 points to 91%  AYP compliance up from 81% last year.

While the district met 19 of its 21 objectives just missing making AYP, all Anderson School District Four elementary schools met AYP. Specific highlights included Pendleton Elementary making progress towards moving out of Continuing School Improvement status; La France Elementary meeting AYP and avoiding becoming a School of Choice; Townville Elementary meeting AYP for the 7th consecutive year since the inception of NCLB; and Mount Lebanon Elementary making AYP for the second year since its opening 2007.  Full Story Here.
