James Gregory Returns to Civic Center

Comedian James Gregory returns to the Civic Center of Anderson on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at 8 p.m., and tickets are on sale now.

Tickets are available at the Civic Center offices Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  The Civic Center accepts cash, Visa and MasterCard.  Checks are not accepted.  All sales are final. Advance tickets are $27.50 each, plus service charges.

Tickets are also available through TicketMaster, at, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Reserve a table of eight and save $20!

Orders in increments of eight to the show will have a table reserved in the name of the ticket buyer. A table of eight can be reserved for $200, plus service charges. Reserved tables must be purchased at the box office, and are not available through TicketMaster.

All ticket orders for less than eight will be general admission.  The earliest table orders will be located closer to the stage.  The general admission seats will be located behind the reserved tables.

The opening act for the show will be announced soon.

All of Gregory’s performances at the Civic Center of Anderson over the past 6 years have been sold out in advance.

The performance on Aug. 13 will again be set-up to resemble a comedy club with table seating.

Gregory, known as the “Funniest Man In America,” has been a stand-up comedian for over 25 years.  He has regular guest spots on radio stations across the country, including the nationally syndicated “John Boy & Billy Show.”
