In conjunction with the celebration of Anderson University’s centennial, historian Joyce Wood, a member of the Anderson faculty has compiled a new pictorial history of Anderson University. The book is published by Arcadia Publishing as a part of its campus history series. While the book will be available at most bookstores and online retail outlets, it can be easily ordered from the Anderson University bookstore at or by calling the AU Alumni Office at 864-231-2102.

The book traces the entire history of Anderson University with photographs from throughout the 100 years ranging from prominent figures and events to overall student life and changing styles in the ten decades the university has been in existence.

Dr. Wood will present the book to Anderson University president Dr. Evans P. Whitaker during the university’s Centennial Founders Day Convocation on February 9th. After which, she will hold a book signing for those wishing to purchase an autographed copy. Orders received before February 9th will be shipped soon after the book is officially unveiled on the 9th.
