Mosaic Theater to Present “To Kill a Mockingbird”

The Mosaic Theatre will present its production of “To Kill a Mockingbird” on six dates in November. The production will run November 4-6 and November 11-13. All six performances will begin at 7 p.m.

The play is based on Harper Lee’s 1960 novel of the same name, which stands as one of the most beloved and studied novels in American literature. The novel was also made into the highly-regarded 1962 film starring Gregory Peck.

The play stars Leigh Burton of McCants Middle School as Jean Louise; Joey Opperman, a Westside High School alumnus, as Atticus; Bradley Powell of Midway Elementary School of Science and Engineering as Scout; Tyler Saperstein of Southwood Academy of the Arts as Jem; and Noah Hall of Southwood Academy as Dill. The play is directed by Rick Mascaro. 

Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors age 65 and over. Admission is $5 for pre-reserved groups of 10 or more. To reserve tickets, please call 864-723-8600.

The Mosaic Theatre entrance is located at the rear of the Anderson V Career Campus located at 1225 South McDuffie Street. Please follow the signs from the corner of Hampton Street and South McDuffie.
