WSPA: Bill Would Forgive Snow Days for Upstate Students

The South Carolina House is moving quickly to forgive some or all of the snow days that students missed in January. It has passed bills that would forgive snow days in Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Darlington, Dillon, Greenwood school districts 50, 51 and 52, Kershaw, Laurens 55, Oconee and Pickens counties. A Senate bill that has not passed yet would forgive the school days for every county in the state.

But even if the bills become law, that doesn't necessarily mean students don't have to make up those snow days. Full story at WSPA.
