Meeting to Discuss Report on Anderson Criminal Justice System

The public is invited to the Anderson Countuy Sheriff's office six-month assessment report of the county's criminal justice system, Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-noon in the Anderson County Council Chambers in the historic courthouse downtown.

Assessors from the National Institute of Corrections will speak on a variety of topics, including observations and impressions, alternatives or processes that could impact jail population, facility development and needs assessment and planning, according to the sheriff’s office.
