Market Theatre Makes "Our Town" a Little More Local

The Market Theatre Company will present a familiar play, with an even more familar twist with the production of "Out Town," which begins Friday night and runs through Feb. 17.

Though the play is set in Grover’s Corner, New Hampshire, but it could just as easily have been Anderson, South Carolina. As a result, uring the run of the play, the group will explore the past, present, and future of Anderson. At each intermission, historical and familar lobby displays- made possible by the Anderson County Museum and the City of Anderson - will tell stories to remind locals of the "real our town."
