Anderson Fair Returns May 2

Observer Reports

The pigs are off to the races in 84 days, as part of the return of the annual Greater Anderson County Fair, which is set for May 2-14 at the Anderson County Sports and Entertainment Center.

Free shows include not only racing pigs, but the Wild West Showdown, Comedy Circus, Max Power Robot and an Exotic Petting Zoo. The fair will also feature new rides, including Sub-Zero and the Auto-Bahn.

Admission tickets are $10, or free for children under 10. Tickets for rides, the number of which varies by the ride, are $1.25.

No one under the age of 17 will be admitted unaccompanied by an adult, and a clear bag policy is in effect this year.
