Area 14 Special Olympics Preparing for S.C. Fall Games

The Area 14 Special Olympics in Anderson County is preparing to send athletes to the 2023 South Carolina Fall Games in Myrtle Beach in September.

For more than 50 years, athletes in Anderson County have participated in a variety of sports through the work of Special Olympics, their programs and volunteers.

Area 14 Director Kathy Schofield offered updates on the months ahead in this interview with the Anderson Observer.
