Binnicker to Retire after 34 Years in School Dist. 1

Robbie Binnicker has spent most of his lifetime in the halls of the schools of Anderson School Dist. 1. But when the final school bell rings for the 2023-2024 school year, Binnicker, who now serves as superintendent, will turn in his keys and move to the coast. 

Binnicker said he will miss the teachers, staff and students when he leaves, but is ready for a slower pace and a new challenge. He talked about growing up on a dairy farm, his years as a teacher, administrator and the changes in education and challenges he faced in this interview with the Anderson Observer.
