Celebrate Anderson Marks 25 Years with 2 Concerts/Fireworks Shows

Anderson County marks the end of summer with the annual “Celebrate Anderson/Hot Air Affair” Labor Day events this weekend, which will feature will feature two country music concerts this year, along with food and a pair of fireworks shows and children’s rides and activities.

“There will be a lot more to do at this year’s Celebrate Anderson,” said Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns.

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the event and will include Randy Houser on Saturday, and Ashley McBryde on Sunday. Both concerts are open to the public, but require a free ticket available at www.andersonevents.com. Organizers are expecting both events to reach capacity and encourage fans to get tickets early. Fireworks shows are scheduled each evening after the concert.

The weekend also includes hot air balloons from all over the nation as part of the Cancer Association of Anderson’s annual “Hot Air Affair” fundraiser event, which also aims to increase awareness of the mission of hope and support provided by the Cancer Association of Anderson.
