City to Consider New Equipment for Police
Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer
Anderson City Council will consider new communication equipment and an additional ten dashboard cameras for the City Police Department as part of Monday’s meeting at 6 p.m. in the council chambers downtown.
The proposed bid for the communication equipment is $121,603, while the cameras’ cost of $73,000 will be paid largely from grant money.
Council will also look at bids for the Anderson Recreation Center roof as part of the meeting. Such repairs would be funded by the Hospitality Tax.
A 5 p.m. economic development work/executive session is also scheduled.
