Council Oks $370K in Projects from ATAX Funds

Anderson County council approved more than $370,000 in funding for 50 tourism/events-related project as part of Tuesday’s meeting.
The funds from the Accommodation Tax money generated by visitor who stayed in Anderson lodging locations during events. This year’s funds were up $27,000 from the previous year.
Council also approved tax incentives for expanding broadband in areas of the county still unserved.
