Council to Honor Emergency Management Team

Anderson County Council will honor the Anderson County Emergency Management Division for their statewide recognition as the top agency in South Carolina for 2024 as part of Tuesday’s meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the historic courthouse downtown.
Council will also vote on third the reading the transfer of 24 properties for use by local non-profit groups to help with housing, and on second reading the $8.3 million bond issue for repairs and restoration of the historic courthouse.
There is nothing on this week’s agenda concerning revisions of development standards.
