Council to Vote on Zoning in Fork No. 2 Precinct

Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

Anderson County Council is expected to give final approval to the amending of the Anderson County Official Zoning Map in the Fork No. 2 voting precinct as part of Tuesday’s meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the historic courthouse.

Voters in the district, which includes part of the Townville area, approved a referendum seeking zoning in their district in August.

Council will also consider tax incentives for a pair of businesses seeking to bring a total of 52 new jobs to the county as part of Tuesday’s agenda. Full agenda here.
