County Council Candidates Outline Priorities at Chamber Forum

All four candidates for the challenged Anderson County Council seats took part in Thursday’s Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce candidate forum. County Council Chairman Tommy Dunn, and his Dist. 5 challenger Robert McCurry and County Council Vice Chairman Brett Sanders and his challenger Dave Shalaby outlined differences in their approach to serving the county during the forum.

Dunn and Sanders outlined the success of economic development and infrastructure progress in the county, while challengers called for more planning and attention to roads and EMS.

The statewide primary is June 11.
