County Remembers Fallen First Responders

Anderson County’s Law Enforcement, Firefighters and first responders remembered their fallen members at a memorial breakfast Thursday at the Anderson Civic Center.

The new event replaces the Walk of Remembrance, which was subject to the weather, and continues to include a roll call of all the fallen city, county and township first responders dating back as far as 1797.

Anderson Sheriff Chad McBride read the names of the fallen law enforcement officers, while Anderson City Fire Chief Charlie King read the names of the fallen firefighters.
