County to Vote on Tax Incentives for New Company

Anderson County council will consider tax breaks for a new company offering to bring 49 new jobs and a $6.6 million investment to the county as part of the first meeting in September, Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the historic courthouse downtown. Council will also give final vote to an ordinance which provides guidelines and enforcement of junkyards and open storage as part of the meeting.
At the 6 p.m. recognition meeting, council is scheduled to honor Montessori School of Anderson for 50 years of service to the area.
