County Update: New Detention Center, Supply Chain Woes, Recreation and the Budget

Supply-chain issues continue to plague Anderson County moving into Spring and Summer. Air conditioning equipment for the Anderson Civic Center ordered more than a year ago has yet to arrive, and lack of pumps and other equipment is slowing sewer expansion and development at I-85 Exit 14.

Meanwhile, recreation continues to be a top demand from citizens and a top priority for county leadership.

All this, plus the new detention center the county’s budget, upcoming events and economic development are part of this Anderson Observer interview with Administrator Rusty Burns.
