County's Community Fish Fry Draw Crowd

Anderson County hosted a free fall fish fry on Saturday as a way of building community through free events.

Anderson County Councilman Glenn Davis, Dist. 2, who put together the event, said such gatherings were a way to show the community they are not forgotten.

“I came into office wanting to serve my community,” said Davis. “This is just one of the ways I can do that.”

Davis said the event this year offers a chance for folks to gather and fellowship after the recent storm.
