Downtown Growth, Infrastructure Marked 2023 in Iva

Infrastructure improvements and a growing downtown are among the most significant developments in the Town of Iva in 2023.

Repair and renovation of sewer lines are expected to make a long-term positive impact on the town, both residential and commercial. 

A grant to renovate the empty building on the town square for a new museum, and work on moving the Anderson County Library to the square was also started this year. 

Iva Town Manager Tim Taylor discusses these improvements and more, while looking ahead to 2024, in this interview with the Anderson Observer.
