Family-Owned Company to Bring 35 New Jobs to County

Anderson County Council on Tuesday gave initial approval to tax incentives for an American company which will bring 35 new jobs with average annual salaries of $75,000-$145,000 per year.

The family owned company will invest $30 million in the project and the first year economic impact on the county is expected to top $13 million.

Also on Tuesday, council approved a right-of-way for Duke Energy to allow for lines to provide more substantial electricity to the county’s 1428 building.
