Funding to Use Chiquola Mill Property Likely in Place for 2024

Finally piecing together funding for restoration of the old Chiquola Mill property tops the news from Honea Path for 2023.

Using a combination of funding sources, the town hopes to have a plan in place in early 2024 to begin work on clearing the property and prioritizing how it will be used in the future. The town also is planning for roads repairs as the new year arrives. 

Like other communities, Honea Path is growing, and housing is at a premium. New housing starts and future housing starts are marker of the growth.
