Growing Farmers Market Kicks Off Summer Season Saturday

The Anderson County Farmers Market officially kicks off the season Saturday with more than 30 vendors. Local farmers will on hand with green beans, squash, potatoes, sweet corn and even a few Summer tomatoes. Local arts and crafts merchants will also be featured at the market.

Farmers Market vouchers were also available for senior citizens. The Farmers Market is now open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
