Iva Police Chief is Right at Home in New Position

Iva Police Chief Josh Bench takes his service to his hometown seriously.

Bench, who was sworn in in December, has been moving toward this position since childhood, with the influence of other members of law enforcement and fire service, who left him with little doubt as to how he wanted to spend his career.

Bench talked about his love for Iva and some of the community members who helped him find his path to the chief’s office in this interview with the Anderson Observer,
