Iva Tree Lighting, Music Celebrates Season

It felt like the North Pole in Iva on Thursday night, with cold temperatures and chilly winter wind, as the town celebrated the start of the holiday season.

The annual lighting of the town Christmas tree, music from school choirs, ensembles and bands, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa were all part of the event which packed the square downtown.
