New Exhibit at S.C. Ag Museum Looks at Future of Farming

The Bart Garrison Agricultural Museum of South Carolina wants folks to “get their hands in the dirt.”
A new exhibit focuses on the future of farming on a large and small scale in the state. “The Future of Agriculture” shows the progress made over the decades and how modern methods and technology will improve farming in the years ahead.
The exhibit also features a seat on virtual tractor which allows visitors to participate in farm activities on the screen as they steer the vehicle from field to farmyard.
The museum, which offers education and informational exhibits on the importance and history of agriculture in the state, is located off Hwy 76 on History Lane across from Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton. and is open Thursday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information visit https://www.bgamsc.org/
