Observer Offers Answers from June Primary Candidates

Today the Anderson Observer offers an election preview of candidates in our new Elections 24 section which will follow races through November.
With the South Carolina Primary three weeks away, the Anderson Observer reached out to every county on the ballot in Anderson County to allow voters to get to know them better. Almost all responded.
U.S. House Dist.3, S.C. House districts, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, county council districts 4 and 5, Anderson County Coroner, 10th Circuit Solicitor each has multiple candidates.
All candidates were given weeks to reply and offered an extended deadline. County party officials also reached to those who did not reply to the questions. The candidates not included in the Anderson Observer primary preview are the following candidates: S.C. House 8 Sherry Hodges, S.C. House 7 Lee Gilreath and Hunter Savirino, and S.C. House 6 Eric Childs.
