Progress on Chiquola Mill Site as Honea Path Growth Continues

Honea Path is getting closer on plans for the old Chiquola Mill site. The site could prove transformative for the town, which is already experiencing growth moving into Spring.

Housing starts are up (and the demand is growing), new businesses are opening, updates to Dogwood Park are in place, a new soccer field area is funded and the town is gearing up for seasonal events.

“I think this is becoming a popular destination for people to live,” said Honea Path Mayor Christopher Burton, who offered other news and updates in his interview with the Anderson Observer.
