Rain Dampens Parade Season in County

The holiday parade season is over, and Anderson County had both holly and jolly events and those which were more of the blue Christmas variety.

Anderson, Belton, Williamston, Iva and the Denver community managed to dance between the raindrops and put on their finest seasonal adornments, while Honea Path, Pendleton, and Pelzer/West Pelzer parades were washed out by the cold, heavy rains that greeted the first two weekends of December.  

Since Iva closed out the season with a parade Sunday just after the storm passed, here is a recap of that event.
