Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

The past 30 days have been full of activity in Anderson County.

From storm cleanup to roads to major events to growth and programs at the county’s library system to a new emergency boat for use on Hartwell Lake, Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns said it has been an extremely busy summer so far.

Burns updates news and events in the county, and looks ahead, as well as providing a historical background for how the county government emerged and how things work in Anderson County in this August update with the Anderson Observer.
