Sadlers Creek Ads EV Charging at Park

Observer Reports

Sadlers Creek State Park is now one of 30 in South Carolina to offer charging stations for electric vehicles. Park visitors who pay admission fees will have free use of the chargers on a first-come, first served basis.

Sadlers Creek has two charging stations, installed by Rivian, which will add 25 miles capacity per charging hour, and work with all electric vehicles. The state will pick up the electricity costs.

According to the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, the state ranks 31st in the nation and at the bottom among Southeastern in the availability of public fast chargers per capita.
