Salvation Army of Anderson to Help N.C. Hurricane Victims

The Salvation Army of Anderson is joining the group’s efforts helping in Western North Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene by providing food, emergency relief, and other services to survivors and rescue workers.
Maj. Joseph Irvin and volunteers from Anderson will be in Western North Carolina until Oct. 30 to help with:
Food: The Salvation Army is providing hot meals and other food assistance
Emergency relief: The Salvation Army is providing emergency aid and long-term recovery services
Emotional and spiritual care: The Salvation Army is providing emotional and spiritual care
Disaster relief: The Salvation Army is providing disaster relief and standing with the community as it rebuilds
