School Dist. 5 Trustees OKs New Leadership at 3 Schools

The Anderson School Dist. 5 Board of Trustees unanimously approved the following administrative changes on Tuesday:
· Curtis Smith was appointed Executive Director of Secondary Instructional Services.
· Brian Williams was appointed principal of Robert Anderson Middle School.
· Malura Shady was appointed principal of New Prospect Elementary School.
· Meridith Johnson was appointed assistant principal of Whitehall Elementary School.
The board also approved moving ahead with gun detectors and leasing property to the South Carolina Athletics Coaches Association at the meeting.
