Soirée Draws Record Crowds
Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer
A live concert on Friday night kicked off perhaps the largest crowd in the history of the Anderson Soirée, with the streets filled and overflowing, despite an unseasonably cold April night.
Saturday’s crowds were also out in force, especially families with children, for the city’s signature arts, crafts, music festival which also featured a Kids Zone play and activity area.
Adjustments made from last year were welcome by local restaurants, several of which reported this as the most successful Soirée for their businesses.
