Split Creek Farm Spring Festival All about the Kids
Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer
It’s a festival all about kid stuff.
Spring brings baby goats to the Anderson County farm, which has gained a reputation around the world for its feta cheese, one of many products offered.
With around 350 goats, Split Creek Farm, which is a Grade A Dairy, includes a barn designed and built by the owners to include milking and cheese operations. The products, which include milk, yogurt, fudge and cheese, are available at a variety of locations across the Upstate, including
Saturday’s event brought in hundreds of visitors for games, music, food and a chance to interact with animals. The farm shop is also opened to the public Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.- 6 p.m., and offers not only products produced on the farm but other local South Carolina items including honey, eggs and soap.
Tours of the farm are also available. Visit here for more information. https://www.splitcreek.com/
