Spring Means Flowers, New Housing for Pelzer

Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

Everything is coming up in color for the Town of Pelzer going into Spring, as wildflowers have been planted in the medians and are being planted at the entry points to town.

Meanwhile the largest housing expansion in more than 100 years is under way in Pelzer, with more than 120 new homes now being built within the town limits. Anderson County has begun cleanup on the historic lower mill site in preparations for planning for future development.

Mayor Will Ragland talked about progress in Pelzer in this interview with the Anderson Observer.
