Superintendent: School Dist. 3 Ranked One of Best in S.C.

Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

The county’s smallest school district posted some of the top academic scores last year and this year’s report card is expected to do the same.

Anderson School Dist. 3 Superintendent Kathy Hipp said the district is growing and is ready for the upcoming school year, which will feature their first full-time districtwide mental health professional. The district was ranked the sixth best in South Carolina by Schooldiggercom.

Anderson School Dist. 3 moved into their expanded administration building in December allowing for all professional staff, including technology to work in a central location.

Hipp talked about her district’s accomplishments and the upcoming school year in this interview with the Anderson Observer.
