Rain Brings Parades Rescheduling, Anderson Tree Lighting Now Dec. 8

The threat of rain has led most Anderson County Christmas parades scheduled for this weekend to move their events to Dec. 9.

To avoid a blue, and wet Christmas, here’s the latest schedule of key holiday events for 2023: 

Anderson Christmas Lights, now open (through Christmas Eve)

Pendleton Tree Lighting, Friday, 6 p.m.

Pendleton Christkindlmarkt, Village Green, Fridays and Saturday, Through Dec. 16 4:30-8:30 p.m.

City of Anderson Cookie Crawl, Tree Lighting, Holiday Walk, Holiday Ice- Dec. 8, 6 p.m.

The Anderson County Farmers Market "Holiday Market" is a RAIN or SHINE event. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays through December 23rd.

Piedmont Parade - Dec. 9 11 a.m.

City of Anderson Parade- Sunday, 3 p.m.

Belton Christmas Parade, Sunday, 3:30 p.m.

Honea Path Parade, Dec. 9, 11 a.m.

Williamston Parade - Dec. 9, noon

Anderson County Disabilities/Special Needs Christmas Parade, 4 p.m at Lights of Hope Dec. 9

West Pelzer/Pelzer Parade - Dec. 9, 5:30 p.m. 

Pendleton Parade - Dec. 10, 3 p.m. 

Iva Carols and Cider, Dec. 14 6:30 p..m.

Iva Parade - Dec. 17, 4 p.m.
