Voter Registration Deadline Moved to Oct. 14.

The voter registration for the Nov. 5 General Elections has been extended due in the wake of the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. 

More than 100,000 citizens in South Carolina were still without electricity on Friday, and the storm shut down several voter registration offices in the Upstate, leading to the decision to extend the registration period.

The voter deadline for both in-person, online and mail-in registration has been moved to Oct. 14.
