West Pelzer Special Election March 28

Voters wishing to participate in West Pelzer’s Special Election March 28 must be registered by Feb. 26.

The non-partisan election is to fill the seat of Councilmember Pat Alexander who, after many years of service, is moving away from the area.

One candidate, Thomas Scarfo, has filed for the seat.

West Pelzer Fire Department, 101 Main Street, is the scheduled polling place for the election, and will be open to voters from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. In the event of a tie, a run-off will be held April 11.
