Early Voting for West Pelzer Special Election Starts Monday

Anderson County registered voters, who qualify and intend to cast an early voting ballot in-person for the Town of West Pelzer Special Election for the unexpired term of town council may do so beginning Monday.

The non-partisan election is to fill the seat of Councilmember Pat Alexander who, after many years of service, is moving away from the area. One candidate, Thomas Scarfo, has filed for the seat. 

Early Voting will be open to voters through March 24. Early Voting will take place at the Anderson County Voter Registration and Elections Office, 301 N. Main Street from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. The election will be held March 28.

When voting early in-person, voters must present a valid photo identification. The acceptable forms of ID’s are a SC Driver’s license, a photo ID issued by the DMV, a photo voter registration card, or a U.S. Passport.
