The Legends Concert Series kicks off July 12, with three bands paying tribute to Styx, Pat Benatar and Journey. August 9 offers tributes to Fleetwood Mac, The Cars and Tom Petty. Sept. 13 brings the Elton John/Billy Joel tributes. The series closes Oct. 11 with bands paying homage to Chicago and the Eagles.
Tickets are $40 for General Admission (bring your own chairs); $75 for Platinum Seating (chairs included); and $125.00 for VIP seating which includes chair, drink and food coupon, VIP Parking, and access to VIP Tent. Season packages are available at www.andersonevents.com beginning Friday.

The purpose of the project is to improve safety and traffic flow, especially for large vehicles, near the busy I-85 Exit 27 at S.C. 81. The Orange Way Extension will also open potential development along the new road. The extended exit ramp will allow for a safer and longer turn lane from the interstate onto S.C. 81.
The community will have the opportunity to explore vehicles like fire trucks, law enforcement vehicles, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, as well as meet the men and women who build, protect, and serve Anderson County throughout the heart of our very own downtown Anderson.

It’s Fat Tuesday in Anderson, as Meals on Wheels annual “Mardi Gras in the Electric City” returns Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Bleckley Station in downtown Anderson. The event will feature a live dance band and food from local restaurants offering bite-size portions of their specialties to create a “restaurant row.”
