S.C. House 10 Pam Anthony

Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

1. What are the three most pressing needs of your district and how can you help address those needs?

• Decreasing state income taxes by decreasing wasteful government spending and improving transparency.

• Improve infrastructure by working with the DOT Commission to begin repairs and maintenance on our roads and bridges and develop a long term plan for expansion.

• Support our law enforcement and first responders by providing funding for additional officers, resources, training and equipment.

2. How would you work with the Anderson County Legislative Delegation to work on these issues?

• It begins with common-sense dialogue and a goal of transparency and builds from there.

3. What are the state’s three most pressing needs moving into 2025?

• Decrease state income taxes to alleviate the financial burden on SC taxpayers during this time of high inflation.

• Improve infrastructure

• Enact tough immigration laws and support SLED's Illegal Immigration Enforcement Unit in order to keep drug cartels and illegal immigrants out of South Carolina.

4. What is your approach to working with other house members to achieve the greater good?

• Start an open-minded conversation in order to address what is best for the state. Clearly define the goals and work toward resolution.

5. What are three personal or professional qualities that make you the best candidate for this office?

• I am a native of the Upstate with deep roots in Anderson, Greenville and Pickens. I know the area, the people and the lifestyle and I will listen to the constituents of District 10 and be their voice in Columbia.

• I am a career educator so I know the value of education. The majority of students in SC attend public schools. We must support our public school system, provide needed resources, and increase teacher pay in order to recruit and retain quality educators.

• I am a private citizen who has never run for an elected office. I saw the need for change and stepped up to the plate. This district continues to grow at a record pace and there are no signs of this slowing down. There is work to be done and I am ready for the challenge.
