Anderson County Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Music, food and more were featured Saturday at the Anderson County Latinx Council’s second annual Hispanic Festival at the Anderson County Farmers Market.

The Hispanic population is the fastest growing demographic group in the county, and the annual festival is the first of many events and programs aimed at meeting the needs of these friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Anderson County Council recently recognized October as Hispanic Heritage Month in the county in recognition of the cultural and community contributions of this group in our area.
