AU Chooses Zidek to Head College of Engineering

Anderson University has named Dr. Lisa Zidek as dean of the College of Engineering.

Dr. Zidek comes to Anderson University with extensive experience in engineering education, most recently at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), where she served as associate dean since 2013. She has also served as academic program director, associate professor of bioengineering, and earlier served as a consultant for various companies and government agencies.

“We are delighted that Dr. Zidek is joining our academic leadership team and faculty,” said Anderson University Provost Dr. Ryan Neal. “Her experience, credentials, background and expertise are exactly what the College of Engineering needs.”

Zidek will begin her service on June 1, 2023.

Zidek earned a B.S in industrial engineering and an M.S. in mechanical engineering at Marquette University. She also earned an M.S. in industrial engineering and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering with a specialization in health systems management, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
