Back-to-School Event Draws Crowd to Farmers Market

With public school students returning to the classroom, another local group hosted a school supplies giveaway Saturday at the Anderson County Farmers Market.

Several hundred lined up hours before the beginning of the event, which also included a Children’s Business Fair aimed at encouraging young entrepreneurs.

The annual event was sponsored by  Quantella & Company of REAL Broker LLC, the back-to-school giveaway, who said the need continues to grow each year.
