Church St. Entrance from Main St. Set to Close

Beginning Tuesday, the City of Anderson is closing East Church Street from South Main Street to the Church Street Heritage to all vehicle traffic. The closing is reportedly part of a test run that will remain in effect at least until after the Anderson Soirée, and could be permanent.

The entrance will remain accessible to pedestrian traffic to Church Street Heritage Plaza and other area destinations.

The Church Street Heritage Plaza and parking lot will still be accessible to vehicle traffic at the South McDuffie Street and East Market Street entrances.
